Say 1 to 2 hours at an angle, the engine cranks but starts with an overrun and a subsequent fuel smell from under engine bonnet. Please let me know the repair procedures. If I shut the car down and try to restart it within 15 minutes the fuel pump will not energize and the car will stumble and die. All the three parts are from the same donor car just the ecu number is slightly different from mine. More than likely it'll be a battery light than and alternator light. If not then you have a weakening Alt and should be replaced very soon as you may get stranded very quickly. It worked fine the day before the hurricane. I have replaced the turn signal bulb and I have also replaced the turn signal socket as well and still happening I was told by a tech at Mercedes to buy the harness repair kit well its for my brake light and Im just wondering if thats what the problem is? I noticed this happens only after the car comes to operating temperature and when driwing slowely in city trafic for several miles, not before. Both rear wheels spin freely in grave on on grass while the brakes are held on The Bentley manual suggest that low battery voltage could cause triggering of the indicator lights. Did you check the coils and plugs? The car has no other issues and it it appears to be sensitive to high temperatures and long driving. Can you guys help me in any way. The warning lights always come on when it's warm outside and I'm driving slowly, just starting out from a stop, or just putting it in gear to move forward.
